 Winnetou
is a 1994, 17hh, double gened black, Hanoverian
bred stallion. He was imported from Germany
as a yearling. Since his arrival in the States,
Winnetou has stamped over 200 foals with large
frames, beautiful movement and even temperaments.
His foals are suitable for dressage, jumping
and simply pleasure. Winnetou consistently passes
his kind and willing attitude and great work
ethic on to his foals, which are already proving
themselves successfully under saddle, in the
show
ring & in breeding barns across the country.
They are a pleasure to work with and all are
“Made in the USA ” !!

When he stepped off the truck on a Sunday in
February 2008 we all took a trip back in time
to when he first arrived at Kruger Ranch back
in 1996. So many things have happened since
then, but he is still the same Winnetou and
we are still the same horse fanatics. J Like
Harold was heard to say when he watched me tack
up and work our old friend in the indoor arena:
“ I was cleaning stalls when he first
came here and that couldn`t have been that long
ago because I sure didn`t get very far…
” J Sometimes time just flies by &
other times it seems to stand still.
Sometimes
you think you should move on to other things
when really you should hold on to what`s dear
to you. I`m very grateful to everybody involved
that I was able to have Winnetou back, most
people don`t get a chance like that.
